🌱 Growth Journey
From Starter Plant to Climbing Growth
Passion fruit vines can grow quickly once they settle in. Give them bright light, steady moisture, warmth, and something to climb — and they will start reaching upward.
How the vine develops
Growth speed depends on weather, plant size, watering, sunlight, root development, and transplant timing. This clip is a simple visual guide, not a guaranteed timeline for every plant.
Week 1–2Settles into its pot and adjusts to light, water, and temperature.
Week 3–4New leaves begin pushing out and the vine starts reaching upward.
Week 5–8Tendrils search for support and the plant begins climbing.
Month 2–3With good care, the vine becomes fuller, stronger, and ready for a trellis, fence, or arch.
Mature stageHealthy vines can flower when conditions are right, especially with strong light, warmth, and established roots.

Quick Care Notes
Helpful basics for new passion fruit plant owners.
Sun: Give young plants bright light and gradually harden them off before full all-day sun exposure.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist while roots establish. Avoid letting containers dry out in Florida heat.
Support: Passion fruit vines need a trellis, fence, arch, or other sturdy climbing structure.
Orders: Message ahead with questions about quantity, availability, local pickup, local delivery, shipping, or plant care.
